The Objective:

MK Movers is a network of like-minded organisations working together to help children and young people across Milton Keynes get active through sport and physical activity. Supported by LEAP and Milton Keynes Community Foundation, they offer local sports groups vital support — from funding and resources to management and guidance — to break down barriers and make movement matter for every child, no matter their background.

The Plan:

We set out to create a brand identity that felt as lively, energetic, and inclusive as the young people it supports.
Our research phase looked closely at other charities and MK-based organisations, identifying common trends to help MK Movers stand out while staying relevant locally.

Using a bright, vibrant colour palette, bold typography and dynamic shapes, we designed a brand that’s full of movement, optimism, and joy. The visuals are punchy and flexible — easy to roll out across print, digital, and social channels. Crucially, we made sure the identity felt friendly and accessible — avoiding anything too polished or corporate.

The Solution:

The final identity puts motion at its heart. The dynamic ‘MK’ monogram doubles as a playful figure in motion — a symbol of energy, fun, and possibility.

Together with a bold palette and flexible graphics, the new look positions MK Movers as an uplifting, community-driven force for good, ready to help every child in Milton Keynes build an active, healthy future.
